Display Preferences: Accessories
This group of options controls the display of various toolbars, windows, and utilities.
Toolbars
Use to hide or restore a toolbar -- Toolbars
- : Keep it enabled as the Status Bar contains valuable information about what the program is expecting you to do next.
- Main: Keep it enabled as options for selecting contour, process and ending types are only available via the toolbar.
General
- Marker Summary: Displays the total number of each marker type traced on the Marker toolbar. The totals are updated as markers are traced, deleted, or changed from one type to another.
Useful for immediate feedback on populations and relative numbers.
- Marker Names: Displays the name of a marker when the marker is displayed.
Center Mark
Screen Center Mark: Displays a special marker at the center of the image.
- For optical lenses, this is the center of the screen.
- For video images, this is the center of the video image.
- For images from bitmapped files, this is the center of the bitmap, or the center of the currently selected bitmap if multiple images are loaded.
Set Color: select a different color for the center mark.
To avoid confusion, set the center mark to a different color than the reference point.

To have a panel docked instead of opening in a pop-up window, check the check box next its name --
